PR-3 LS/VTEC with hondata

When i first stert my car i'm not getting any CEL's Then half a minute later the CEL pops up and when i goto check the code it throws a code 1 then a code 2 then a code 3 then a code 4 all the way up to like 20 something. i still get VTEC. but the car doesn't run too well.

I tried a different ECU and it did the same thing.

I have hondata, and it was semi tuned by payn technologies.

I don't have the Knock sensor or the 2nd O2 in but i dunno if he cancelled them out or not.

any help would be appreciated.

 

check your grounds and your ecu plugs. hell all plugs while your at it. could be intermidiet conections

 

all the plugs seem to be connected and all the grounds seem to be ok also.... any other ideas?

 

I'm pretty sure all the plugs are connected and the grounds are all hooked up. before i got it tuned i was running a kenji chip and it wasn't throwing any cel's

but the cel stayed on when the key was in the on position. then i bought another ecu and got that socketed also....

any other ideas?

maybe u should describe how the car is driving

 

the car drives fine. The idle is a little bad but that could be the STR TB and cutting off all coolant to the iacv and to the mani.

but it drives normal...

I don't have the Knock sensor hooked up or the 2nd O2 but wouldn't it just throw the code for those 2 and not count like that?

yes that is exactly what it's doin and i've tried 2 different ecu's

 

Clean all your grounds. Thats a start

 

i'll try that but when i got a chip from kenji before i got it tuned it didn't throw any codes
