Power Door locks install HELP ASAP!
Got the power actuators set in but that stupid feature on the drivers side (the one where you can't unlock the door without pulling handle on the inside) is preventing the actuator from unlocking/locking door.
I know some of you have done this...what can i do to eliminate this problem!?
Thanks
Vince

are you sure thats its the "safety" lock (so you dont lock yourself out) ?? cuz i did my locks (with a friend) and the driver side works fine but the pass. side sticks sometimes and we didnt to anything diff. to one door. i wish i could help you more, but i dont think its what you said

i would recomend getting 88-89 LX sedan actuators. not the 90-91 sedan cause they had extra swiches for the auto seatbelts. they have the actuator bult in and bolt right in.
Man i dunno if this is just an 88 thing? I'm guessing its the safety lock but if you guys know what i'm talking about it prevents the lock/unlock lever from moving unless the handle is pulled (both on interior). My actuator (as most aftermarket should) is attatched to that connecting rod and wont move unless the handle is pulled.
Anyone else?
