hi - i bought a 94 ls and it came with a built in acura phone(above my radio) - it uses my speakers for speaker phone - Its says locked on it and i bet i have to go to acura for the stupid code - but after that how could i get it to work to my cell phone # - any info would be great - thanxs

 

I never knew Tegs came with a phone option. Are you sure its an "Acura" phone?
Is it possible that the previous owner had a custom phone installed into the car?
If its not too much trouble can you post a pic of it?

 

Yep its an acura phone it has the emblem on it and lights up the same light as the dash - The car i bought was kind weird it was an ls with every option you could possibly buy (factory fogs, phone, gold package, leather seats) - Ive seen the same phone in the cl's - i dont have a pic for now - sorry

 

I believe it's a Motorola. If it's locked, there are ways to get by the code, but I don't remember how. I think it's #123456, but it's been a long time since I retired from the Mobile electronics field.

 

Yes, that is the point, to access the phone so you can reprogram it.

DUH
