ok first of i readdddd alot of threads and forums about this i found sum info, but often times im struggling between 2 or more differnet " bests"..

ok now im not sure how many miles are on my motor, but its a 97 b18c1

i wanna run a goood motor oil... but im goin to go as far as amsoil or royal purple because it too expensive for a jus a N/A street car wit just bolt ons...

but how ever i picked mobil 1 10w 30 SuperSyn today..
but i read alot of forums and its been sed 5w 30 is better becuase its thinner..?
i dunno im kinda confused

currently im runnin 5w 30 castrol i think, but i waant my engine to last as long as possible..

before i switch my motor oil which is after i get sum responses from u honda-techers , im goin to use Gunk's Motor Flush to flush the conventional oil so i can use the Mobile one Super syn...

just drain the old oil and fill it with your fresh mobil 1 oil. dont use that engine flush stuff....sometimes those things do more harm than good.

mobil 1 is very good oil. 10W30 is perfectly fine but next time you should use 5W30. thats what is recommended by honda.

 

ok kewl i aint use it yet so imma go exchange my 10 30 fror 5w 30 tomarrow

 

Watch your oil level, check it at every fill up. Some people have been know to burn through alot of the Mobil stuff.
