just got the jdm ef9 rear seats!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

first off i hope i can post this in this fourum? i just got a set of jdm rears! so my question is about where should i mount my amps?? i have 2 amps on the back of my stock rears, but im not to sure if i wanna start putting holes in these seats (after all they where pretty hard for me to get) so if anyone has any ideas or pics of where to do the mounting these amps? or your opinions of me just mounting them on the jdms?? oh and another reason i put the amps on the rears where cuz they dont fit under the front seats and i got a battery and sub in the trunk (so i dont have alot of room to work with) thanks

Mount on the box and make sure you seal up the holes good.

show us some pics oif the seat maybe you could get mdf behind them for the amps

build a 'hing' or bracket that would secure the mdf behind the seat without having to bore the seats!

im sorry but i dont know how to put pics on here. as far as mounting the amps on my box: 1, i dont think there is enough room for two amps on my box(one 12'"), and 2, i wanna do somethin cleaner. and what does this stuff mean : "mdf behind the seat without having to bore the seats" thanks

mdf is what your box is (hopefully) made of

i was saying you could build some brackets for a piece of mdf big enough to fit your amps as if they were screwed down to the back of your seats

build the brackets to bolt into your seat bots or something feasible, its pretty easy if you know what you want

it's basically be an amp 'rack' that is parallel to the back of your seats but not secured on them, you could even secure the rack to the sub box if its big enough
