What kind of axles are good for turboed integra's??
Hey what's up? I'm in the process of building a DA6 integra from the ground up, and i have future plans of turboing it....What type of axles do you guys use? or what kind would you suggest??? thanx evan
I did not break my first axel until this year....Ive had the swap for 4 years and two years were turbo charged. I think I broke them from wear and tear, actually the broke when I ran street tires for the first time.

Ok thanx for the reply..... i was unsure if i should use the stock axles because i wasnt to certain they would hold up to a turboed motor...besides im looking to save money any way i can, but i didnt wanna cheap out on axles because they have an important job.....i hate to spend money twice if you know what i mean.
axle's break... it basically a given... there is normally something that gives... if ur making enough power... its up to u what u want to give... its either the clutch, tranny or axles
hint: axles are cheaper and easier to replace than clutch or tranny...
put stronger axles on and you make one of the other two things more likely to break first...
hmmmm.....

i have thedriveshaftshop stage 2 axles on my teg........needless to say in the winter they arent that great, i assume that from the salt build up the CVs start to break down and in reaturn leaks for a while then blam (especially when you are in the worst place liek the side of the highway) it might just be a theory but these things arent supposed to break with air intake header and exhaust (then) so i plan on putting in a set of stock rebuilds for the winter and taking out my DSS axles and then putting then back in in the spring time.
