Default B18c1 in a 89 si hatch...

I have an B18c1 in my hatch, and i am running a PWO computer. Is it ok to run it like that, considering the secondary butterfly may not get the correct reading? But the butterfly runs on vacuum so it should not matter (I think). Is their any jumper harness that I could use to run the stock GSR computer ?

You will lose a lot of midrange with the butterflys not hooked up. They are controlled by the ecu, not by vacuum. The cheapest way to work them would be an rpm activated swtch. Also, the PW0 ecu prolly isnt giving the motor -quite- enough fuel, but it should run half decent.
If you want to convert to OBD-1, Blown90Hatch sells an ecu jumper harness. Keep in mind that you will also need an OBD-1 distributor, injectors, and O2 sensor. This is probably the best way to go if you already have an OBD-1 GSR ecu. If your ecu is from an OBD-2 car, i would recommend you consider this: http://www.zdyne.com/convhome.html w/ the optional nitrous control. Read my other post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=95307. Just some things to think about.

another option for you is to eliminate the GSR snail-shell intake manifold and go Skunk2 manifold. This will convert you intake to single-butterfly....

Having your ECU reprogrammed is another suggestion also...

Thanks for the info..I am considering getting the Skunk 2 manifold..Does anyone reprogram the PWO...I have a friend that recommends a man named Kenji in Florida, but I do not believe he could reprogram it, or remove the speed limiter..Anyone know who might be able to do so, PLEASE REPLY... Thanks...

With the skunk2 manifold, all you should have to do is bump up the base fuel pressure 3-5 PSI... THat should force enough fuel through there to allow for the extra cubic inches

They should have CLOSE to the same resonances so that should be a fun li'l rocket.

In a n/a situation, I'd think the Skunk would be a little better, but I might be wrong... JG/Edelbrock has FI in mind with the large plenum.

Right now i am running it at 43psi. I bought the motor from a friend and he had it tuned at a dyno while in his car, I have everything set the same except for the PWO ecu that I am running.

no idea..
In fact, I haven't even heard of anyone running a JG/edelbrockley manifold as of yet.... isn't that manifold for a straight race car only setup anyways ?
