Default *CTR SRS steering wheel help*

ok for those who have the SRS CTR steering wheel in their EK i need your help. I swapped my SRS CTR wheel in last night and i have one problem to ask u guys.. does your SRS light stay on when youre driving? Mines comes on and i need help on how to turn it off? what makes it stay on when i start the car and drive it?

Any help would be great thanx..

not sure with compatibility between jdm and usdm airbags. if you had the battery hooked up when switching bags, your srs probably noticed a disruption and shut itself down to prevent accidental deployment. try resetting the system, i searched hondatech. you should only need a paperclip to reset it...

thanx optix.. i disconnected my battery cable before i disconect the srs plugs and remove the steering wheel.. so basically u have to reset the srs light? ill do this once i find out wat a SCS service conector is and what eh MES plug looks like thanx

the mes connector should be under your dash so you do not have to disconnect the airbags again if that is what your thinking. if you do a search for "srs resetting" under archived files, there may be a post with images still available.

btw all of the srs stuff is yellow. the MES connector is two wires with a yellow connector. it may be hooked to something that will just hold it in place.
