Hydrolocking?

Default Hydrolocking?

I have a 1997 honda civic ex.. i adadded an aem cold air intake and i ran threw a puddle "low rpms" and my engine stalled... i tried to crank it.... i got nuthing....no sounds no clicking nuthign at all.... my intake is about 7 inches from the ground .. the puddle was at least a foot deep.. is this a hydrolock? there is no respons from meturnign the key.. could it be the starter.. help!

No long has it been? That happened to me once, waited about 15 mins and it started again.

I problem I read a few times is that water splashes up onto the distributer..give it some time and then try again. If theres no clicking, it might be ur starter too.

remove the intake and see if there water in the t/b. also remove plugs to see if there water in the cyclinders.
