Default looks like i finally may have found an 02/03 s2k...and i need some help

Ok, some of you guys might know, i've been looking for an s2k for a bit now. And i'm looking to stick w/ the 02/03 (dont like the 04 at all) and not particularly fond of the 00/01, thought i would settle if it really came down to it. anyways, the guy thats look ing for the car for me, he finally found an 2002 after about a month of searching. And i was just wondering if anyone could do a search on the vin to see how it comes up.

theres the info on it. i was looking for a red s2k, but if its silverstone, thats just fine...it was my second pick. but anyways guys, for those of you who do have silverstones, how well does the car hold up after washes. this sounds horrible, but one of the main reasons that i fell in love w/ red cars after i had my red crx, was that you hardly have to wash them. wash it one week, and a few weeks later it still looks pretty damn good, if not great. unlike black or white cars. but how well does the silverstone hold up after washes?

i'm sorry guys, i'm just horribly excited right now. i've been waiting patiently for 5 months a 7 days now...and it looks like the day is actually here.

I have a Sebring and it's very easy to keep clean. BTW, there is no Silverstone for 2002; but available in the other model years.

I know what you mean. My Berlina looks like **** again a few hours after I wash it. It shows dust, dirt, scratches, fingerprints, you name it...

damnit...its a silverstone wasn't available that year? only sebring? damnit that sucks...

well, i found out some more info on it. 8000 miles on it. I'm wondering if i should just pass it up anyways, even though i dont really like the color at all (not a fan of sebring)

ok...now that i think about it. does anyone have any kind of checklist of things that i should be sure to check out. I'm going to be taking a look at it today. At 8000 miles i'm kinda expecting it to be in prestine condition. But anyways i was told that if i were test driving a car, to ride 1st and maybe 2nd gear (high rpms) and listen to any kind of clutch chatter, or noise from the clutch. Are there any other issues i should be aware of? Thanks in advance guys, so many of you guys have helped me out so much already

Have you looked on http://www.s2kicom? In the cars for sale section there are tons of very low mile s2k's, and most are in CA. Most of the owners over there take pretty good care of their cars.

i could devinetly do that, infact...i have. but i doubt anyone on s2ki would wanna sell me their car for wholesale, or even below wholesale cost when they know they can get @ least private party retail for it...sometimes more. which is why i gave up on s2ki
