VGS??
variable geometry steering...basically changed the steering ratio @ different speeds. but i heard a lot of people dont like it because it makes the steering unpredictable

I wouldn't say unpredictable, it's more disconnecting the driver from what the car is doing at slower speeds.

don't be sorry, it's okay. What's funny is that the stock steering unit is speed sensitive as well, but not as sensitive as the VGS. The VGS was intended to be advantageous for auto-x but it takes some getting used to. I've had my EPS disengaged for awhile now. I only notice the extra effort while in parking speeds, otherwise, I prefer no power assist at other speeds. Only downside is, when you start running front tire widths greater than 245s, you'll want a "quicker" steering rack and this is where the VGS might come handy. But when you lighten a car, running so much tire, even 275s in the rear, shouldn't be necessary but it's more fun to go faster around a turn than go slower and have your hands all crossed up correcting the slide.
