ok guys need some help. got a 98 hatch w/ a 99 LS running a obd1 ecu (p75). anyway, car has been acting stupid. first it would throw a CEL for the map about once a month. in the past week it has done it every day. at cruise the car will stutter at times and does this constantly until it throws the code, then it will be fine until i try to rev over 5k. what should i do replace the map sensor? check voltage?
given used Map Sensors are cheap just replace that. while your there check the passage for the map sensor to see if its clean and clear.
If you want to do it the right way get a HELM and follow the step by step directions on how to diagnose the problem.
