this is my second top motor mount on the drivers side for my coupe. piece of junk keeps tearing on me. what could i do to prevent this from ripping again? is there any tip or somthing for this? the other 4 mounts are fine.

hmm are you talking about "torque mounts"?

 

not the torque mounts, talking about the upper motor mount. the fat round one. thats the only mount that gives me a problem

I bought a solid polyurethane mount from http://www.jdmshit.com I can't remember off hand what the brand name is, but if you look, it's on there. Haven't had a single problem in the past 15K since I installed it (turbo'd b16 @10psi)

 

Energy Suspension motor mount inserts. Call Ramchargers : 1-888-293-RAMS - that's where i got mine. They're easy as hell to install.

 

check with Hasport to see if they have one for your app

 

It keeps tearing cuz the 96-00 drivers side mount is a shitty design, get the hasport mount. One6 has one in their display case
