Toda A's
There has been alot of talk regarding the toda cam's over at s2ki.com some people have had luck right out of the box. However, a few people have had huge headaches getting gains from the cams and acutally saw losses on the initial install.
I would do a search over there and read up it would seem that unless you are ready to tune and re-tune it would be a somewhat risky addition.

It will need some tuning to get these cams to make power. I have seen someone who's running the TODA As with e-manage making additional 11whp which I think not too bad from a stock head and bottom end.

Um. Camshafts are cams. So this is confusing. Do you mean cam gears?

sorry but did the s2k in the s2k forum that dynoed have i/h/e vafc? or was it the "claims of toda" that had the parts on their s2k? but anyways, if it was only a 5 hp gain, do you guys really think its worth it? i doubt the 5 hp will even make a 2 tenths of a diff. on the car. am i wrong? i mean its an 1100 dollar cam, might as well save an extra G lets say and buy itb's and get about 30+ whp.
too much misinformation being spread. $1100 is only for the camshafts, you'll need the valve springs and labor to have them installed with the cams. The cams will shine when the package is completed with a modified cylinder head, increased compression, and with ITBs. ITB's do not = +30whp by themselves. A full ITB setup will run near $3000. and You'll only see the benefits of running one with a EMS + H/E + Tuning that will take many hours. Put a plenum on the ITB's and you'll negate whatever gains you'll get from running them. But maybe running no air filters on a street driven car is okay?
NA isn't cheap, it's expensive. To make it work, you need the whole package. It's not like a SC kit where you can install the bare kit without EMS and make power.

there is your answer.
i think the best mod listed above is EMS(to get first) as vapor has posted many a times, tuning is key and is worth the 1200+dyno time.
