8/10/04 11:46PM... Chalk up another boosted SOHC hatch to the list in Michigan, its done, had hella fitment issues with the bumper but its strait... i'll update longer with more pics later, right now its off to the hottub for some R/R.. bbl kids!

8/10/04 4:43AM... Ok so first off i spoke WAY to soon about the oil lines, the length was all off and none of the oil feed fittings were designed for the turbo, so home depot became my friend REALLY quick... back to the oil pan, the JB weld went to ****, even after 16+ hours of curing, so the guys at ClubConceptz (actually the one that looks like paul walker) hooked it up with a new oilpan fitting and welding (sp), Although i also took my turbo up there to have them clock it, they sadly spent 10 min on it and said "oh well no go on the clocking just worked on it for 10 min and wouldnt budge sorry" so -$20.00 later i had a turbo oil pan and a non-clocked turbo... Took the bumper off today and started cutting away for the FMIC yet kept breaking dremel blades :-\ then finally got the turbo clocked after hitting it with a sledge, heating it up for a 1/2 hour and using a whole can of PB blaster on it (thumbs up for PB Blaster!)... everythings mounted now and looks like the below pictures, there before and after in there.. Tomorrow the FMIC comes in and the project is COMPLETE!!!!!!!

8/9/04 12:28AM... Ok so this started out to be easy and yet got harder and harder as the day went on and a lot of cuts and nics. I've already broken 3 droplight blubs, and have 12 misquito bites, 26 missed calls, smoked 18 cigarettes, and drank 3 diet cokes. The oil lines were a snap, i drilled the oil pan fitting and am JB welding it as we speak. The charges pipe are still being a bitch and not wanting to allign properly.. well i'll shut up and take the pics now :-D brb!!!!!!!!!

heard/seen some horror stories about the ssautochrome mani's man!

you might want to consider welding on some more metal to support the weight of the turbo, from what i've read, they crack easily.

 

that chick sleeping with her eyes half open is freaky.... its liek sh grew up in the hood and has to watch her back haha

 

that sleepin with the eyes open freaks me out my friends does that, weird... yeah ive hear some horror stories bout them ssautochrome manis..looks good though.. soon me sol will be boosted.. what ya plan on runnin for boost??

i know isnt that freaky ****?! wowzers! the manifold will be braced soon, i bought the turbo from a place in Mi called Michigan Imports, got it for $100.00 bucks, got the mani for $168.00 shipped, Tyrus FMIC 5" $155, charge pipes/all oil lines/TiAL 38mm wastegate w/ dumptube/Greddy type s BOV all for 525, good deals?
