i have a 90 si hatch, and i am in the process of do a b16a1, my question is i have been told that you have to replace the hood at the time of the transplant, is this true, and if so which on is better the zc hood or the jdm hood, i am also going to go with a carbon fiber hodd, any suggestions?

 

u can get the fiber images one but u dont have to change the hood for the b16 no one else does im pretty sure its only the b18c that requires the hood

if it rums just cut some of the trim from underneath the hood, ive seen some people with poor swaps where it rubs a tiny but, but should not be an issue.

Yeah, pretty funny

 

You could just be like me, save some money and cut out the hood skeleton. That's how I got my hood clearance in my CRX. Ya know, my hood weighs just about as much as a CF hood, that skeleton weighs a lot.
