How much can I get for my Si EG?
1993 Honda Civic Si hatchback
Non-smoker
Cold a/c
Lowered on Tokico Illuminas on Skunk2 coil-overs
D16Z6 stock engine no mods done it to it whatsoever
Tune up every 3k miles
Oxidation on the top of car
Minor dings and dents around the car none are major as in you'd have to put a lot of time and effort into fixing it before paint. These dings and dents are from people opening their doors on my car while I was at work
Stock black paint
140k miles
I'm in Hawaii and these cars are rare as they come, so I'm going to put it in the paper for $6k. I know that seems like a lot but I'm hoping they low ball me to $5500.00 and I'll go with that.
I just saw a 1989 stock Si CRX in the newspaper and the guy was asking $6,000.00 for it. I mean that is just not reasonable but I do think my EG is a reasonable offer.

Unless car prices are ridiculously high in Hawaii, 4k tops.
Youre talking about a 11 year old CIVIC.
You can get a decent 11 year old lexus for that much

I understand that it is indeed an 11 year old car. I always thought supply and demand worked everywhere but I guess not with cars? Oh well, here goes nothing.

Take into consideration Hawaii is 1/1000000 of Cali lol.

Thanks man. I know some people are going to come out of the wood work and say that it isn't worth **** this and that but it's all about simple economics, supply and demand. When the demand is high and the supply is low, price goes up.

comming from somone that lived in hawaii, I can say good luck for $5K just because someone was asking $5K for a CRX doesnt mean he sold it for that price. Infact when I went back home this past month I saw alot of hatches esp Si hatches there towards Kapolei and mililani side
in north dakota in the middle of no where, i had to drive 400 miles to get a 94' coupe EX with 98k on it, it was in really nice shape. that costed me almost 5k. It may seem like quite a bit but it was worth it to me.
