hey i have tan interiors for my ls nd i hate it !! and i hear you can paint ur interiors like ur dash and stuff like that and i was wondering if this is really possible and if it is what kind of paint do i use for it ?

 

yeah its possible, but it will look like crap. Its called interior dye. Dont do it man...waste of time, money, and your seats will peel to hell.

 

it's a pain in the ***, but you can always piece together a black interior and put it in.

IMO, i would not paint it, go the extra mile and get an original black interior. paint looks like ***.

 

some people can make it look good... u gotta take the time and have the patience to do it... i'd paint some stuff.. but not like the steering wheel or seats....

 

VHT has interior paint for plastics. Autometer recomends it to paint their pillar pods to match interiors. It is not supossed to flake or fade.

 

Your better off swapping all of the parts for the gray interior.

The worst part is the dash. Im not looking forward to doing that on mine.

Im in the progress of doing my interior right now, i swapped every little single thing in my car tan to black EXCEPT the dash, it would be a pain to do it if you're lazy, so what i did was got some BullDog paint stuff and black vinyl paint. Bulldog paint is a clear paint that you suppose to paint it on your dash first before you spray the black vinyl paint on, BullDog make the paint stick on very strong so it wont be easily be peel off or fade and whatever, i highly recommand using this BullDog ****, mine turns out great! and i have no regret, just use newspaper to block off the area where you dont want it to be painted. You can find BullDog at almost any paint stores. Good Luck! Hope that help!

swap the interior out its easy just takes time
took me a whole day to swap from tan to black
but it looks so much better

 

ah....i seee.....cause one of my friend was like " oh yeah i know someone who painted their interiors and it looks nice ! " and i was like oh.... =x well thanks everyone !
