Default OOOPS!!

Bone Stock 99 GSR with 110K miles. Customer was on his way to have us to a timing belt job. Motor seized on its way to the shop and he had it towed. He thought the timing belt broke on the way over. It appears that was not the problem!

Oil starvation is most likely the cause. CHECK YOUR OIL!!

Did he hear a loud noise when the rod broke the block or did the engine mount kinda absorb it?

Bad news nonetheless.

Ohhhh, same thing happened to my integras last owner........which is why I picked it up so cheap.....threw in a newer long block (no point just replacing the bottom end since I didn't know of one laying around), and it was as good as new.
Didn't the little red oil light flash at you?

This is what happens when people don't know how to take care of their cars. It's sad.

100miles x 30 days in a month x 2 months = 6000 miles without an oil change

Number three owned my motor. That sucks for her motor, but it'll come back better than before. Goodluck.

driving that much and not checking the oil regularly is not exactly taking good care of the engine in my book...oh well, good luck with the rebuild

Unfortunatly females (most, not all) rate car matinence number 10 on there list, behind shoes and the mall.

This GSR was taken good care of, interior and exterior is very clean. The motor was also taken care of as far as we can see. From the way the head looks I think it was getting massive blow by and ate the oil quicker then I have ever seen.

Everyone pushes there oil change off, this car just happened to be pissed @ the world.
