I just pulled my dash and crap to find out that WHOEVER i got my car from tried to be sneaky and pull the CEL light out ...so i put one in...WOW it works...onlything is....i need to get it off.
I already knew it would throw it because i had a vtec ecu on my y7 because i bought a y7 ECU that was manual when i did the swap...mine isnt manual. (***** car) but...it should throw CEL because it isnt reading VTEC right? when i put in the y7 ECU...since my car is an auto and the ecu is a manual....should it cause my car to throw the CEL ...even if i dont drive it around...just in the driveway?
