***High Flow CAT turns CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON?***!!!
My friend picked up a 7th gen a few days before I got mine. Now, the car has many mods very similar to mine, but, the check engine light is on. It's a 2001 with 35k on the d17, the guy said the reason the check engine light is on is because the high flow cat has TO MUCH air flowing, more then normal so the computer things there is somthing wrong, and thus the light is on, and he told us that the ECU needs to be RESET. Whats up with this? Did he BS my friend or is this true?
just try resetting it, can't hurt. another thing to check for is what code the check engine light is, and third, see if there is even a secondary o2 sensor
