I got another Cat converter and so i decided to hollow it out and take put that one on. andi drove it for about 5 miles and my Check Engine light came on! If i put the regular cat back on, will it turn off? what if i keep it like this for a long time with the check engine light? will there be any problems? thanks alot guys

 

try resetting your ECU...if that doesn't work get a simuator to prevent the CEL.

my bad i know what CEL stands for, but what and where can i get a simulator? anyone know if my o2 sensor will burn if left with the gutted cat? somebody helppp
