Default Help, fast..rad question

I did a search, didnt find anything...

on my 00 R, when I took off the oem rad, it only had 3 hoses connections.
I bought a replacement rad today, and at the bottom of the rad there are 2 extra nickel piping about 3 inch long attached to the rad... what are they for?

thanks guys

Probably a transmission oil cooler. Just cap them off

a/t cooler lines. since you have a manual, you don't need them. most radiator companies makes one type of radiator. to fit at and manual.

cooling for the tranny.

i didnt know you can use a radiator if it was off a manual
it had to be either manual or auto.

thats what i was told anyway.

Yeah, as said before, it is for the AT tranny cooler. Block them off as RJ said and you shall be set but I guess you figured it out.

I ran into this problem with the replacement radiator for my old gsr. I didn't have anything to block off the 2 inlets, ,so I just took a length of silicon hose and connected them. Same difference I guess....I never ran into any problems doing it that way.
