Default RADIATOR QUESTION

i'm not a car person at all. the other day i went and bought a new radiator and forgot to specify nor did they ask me if my vehicle was an auto and manual. from what i believe the new radiator in my pictures below, there are two metal hose outlet (the hook shape) which routes to the transmission in automatics. my old radiator does't have that. my question is are automatics and manuals different? i called the place that i purchased it from and the guy told me that it shouldn't matter. does it?

Looks like we have a lazy radiator distributor. The manual ones from most manufacturers don't have that.

I picked up a radiator from RCautoworks and thats exactly how mine came. I wouldnt really call it lazy if its compatible with manual and auto... maybe versatile? *shrugs*

yes, they are different. those extra 2 ports are for automatic tranny fluid to go through and cool. being that you have a manual you don't have to worry about that. oh, and no, nothing will leak from it either.
