Default waste gate question

im installing a turbo, all thats left is for me to get a waste gate. here is the question... are all wastegates where they bolt onto the header/manifold a universale size, or are there different sizes.. if so how do you figure out the size?? by measuring hole centers???

thanks

You'll have to use the wastegate that is flanged for your manifold. If your manifold doesn't already have a flange, that gives you more options (tial, hks, etc.). Soo, which manifold are ya using? btw, the tial 35/38 use the same flange.

is the flange shaped like an sharp oval? if it is it im 99.99999 percent sure you can fit a tial 35mm on there. If its square then a tial 40mm

btw you have to host pictures, like imagestation.com...you can just copy the link from your comp.

You are correct on the tial 35/38 being the size. I'm not familiar w/ turbosmart Wg's. Just pick up a tial/turbosmart w/ the WG spring in what boost you want to run and go with it. Pick a lower spring if you plan on using a boost controller.

can be had anywhere from $205 - $215 from vendors on HT - check venders marketplace. If you need feed/drain lines, can be had for $185 from fast-turbo.com (if stan's still offering the deal) - check his deal in above mentioned forum.
