alright guys my 95 gsr with 116k is burning lots of oil when im in vtec. i was planning on going turbo this summer, but realized that i should build it before, because might as well fix the burning oil problem and i should do it right the first time for boost. what i would like to know...and get some help on is the right stuff for a rebuild. i have $1,200 to mess around with right now so what do you guys sugest? i want to beable to atleast be pushing 350+ safly, what kind of pistons, rods, valvetrain, block gaurd..ect. should i get and maybe include a close estimate of a price. any help would be awsome!

 

$1200= Eagle rods + JE pistons + all nesesary seals, gaskets + new valves + and a tapered block at the machine shop.. on ur B should be more than enought to get the 350 u want

 

nice. what kind of pistons (as in compression). what do u mean when u say "tappered block"??
