building: pistons rods sleeves block guard for my LS turbo motor
i have a B18b motor to build with a T3/T4 turbonetics turbo and greddy front mount intercooler. i'm planning to resleeve, new pistons, and new rods. most likely not going to touch the head. i am deciding on AEBS sleeves, Arias inverted dome top 81.5mm bore pistons, and Eagle rods.
what other sleeves would be satisfying for a good price? (darton, AEBS...etc)
what kind and size of pistons for 9:1 compression?
any other recommended compression i should run?
any suggestions for other rods? (im pretty much decided on eagle)
block guard or no block guard? if yes, what kind?
i just want some feedback on people who had a strong turbo built setup and a lot of opinions please! thanks!

if you have a Blocked sleeved you dont need a block guard piston size anywhere from 81-84mm, and I think the best sleeves for the price is GE

Go with 83 or 84mm CP pistons, you might aswell because you are resleeving anyway. you don't need a blockguard and should never use one anyway . Eagle rod are fine aslong as you buy the new style from a reputable dealer.
It is a good idea to talk to Earl about this. He can make this process very easy for you

Unless you're going for over 500HP sleeving really isn't necessary. It's being more and more proven that you don't need sleeves for under 500HP. Just trying to save u a grand
