Default How to adjust handbrake...

Hey Guys, my handbrake is just way too lose... this morning i woke up with the car in the middle of the street as it rolled down cause the handbrake wasnt tight enough. How do i tighten it? If someone can give me a little step by step id appreciate that! thanks boys

why dont you also put your car in gear when you park? if you parking up hill, put it in 1st gear, downhill, reverse... use that AND your emergency brake..

Look at this diagram it's no.9 to turn and adjust the play out of your handbrake

You will have to remove the centre console first to get at it, don't overtighten as you need a bit of slack so the brakes arn't binding at the rear, when the lever is down.
