Default I'm having some troubles!!!!!!!

I have a N/A 99 civic si as of right now.... I'm going to boost in the near future but wanted to start on my fuel setup first... I have installed a 255 walbro pump, Sat. rc550's with clips, golden eagle fuel rail, and AEM fpr... The fpr is set at 40psi... What I started my car and tried to give it gas it felt like it was running on 2 cyl... I'm still running stock ecu... I'm wondering if i'm able to run this setup without boost?? Should the fpr be set lower?? Would the car be able to run if I wires for the injectors were backward?? I'm pretty sure I did them right.. Any help would be great...

That fuel system is not gonna work on a stock ecu. You will either need to get a piggy back or some other way to get the ecu decrease the fuel sent. You should take all that stuff off for now.

also yes it does matter if the wires for the injectors are backwards and make sure the wires are going into the correct cylinder. you also may need a ressistor box. i know i did for my rc 550 p+h. otherwise youll fry the ecu. But overall those parts you have are very good and will work with your turbo setup, but for now i would definetly keep the stock injectors on. your really not supposed to put new injectors in without getting the car retuned.

Well I have a hondata and p28 but I haven't install it yet.... So do I need that ecu hookup?? Does that mean that the Sat rc550 injectors won't run with a obd2 ecu?? Everythings going to be tuned at the end of the month but I was trying to get the fuel setup for the turbo thats going on soon.... I thought that the car would drive with this setup though...

if you can try hooking up hondata and scaling the fuel values to keep from running rich with those injectors.

I thought about adjusting the fpr from 40psi to something lower.. So you think that would help?? I think it's just dumping to much fuel....

you're dumping way too much fuel, your stock ecu still thinks the stock injectors are in there and is opening/closing the 550's as long as it would the stock ones, you're dumping 2x more fuel than you used to - install your hondata or take those injectors back off and put the stock ones back in

So when I install the hondata & p28 with a base map then it should make the car run without bogging down...

When you install the p28 and hondata put the 550's in. As long as it's tuned for the 550s then it will run normal. I'm surprised it will idle at all on the 550s with a stock ecu and nothing else.

also if your running a p28 which is obd1 your going to need an obd2 to obd1 conversion harness.

I got everything... I just need to install it... So for you hondata user out there.. Do I only have to hookup the one wire from the hondata into the modified ecu.. I think it's a white connector inside the ecu...
