Default IGNITION COIL QUESTIONS

OK, I THINK MY COIL MY BE BAD WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE BESIDES GETTING A FACTORY REPLACEMENT, HOW WOULD I WIRE UP A MSD COIL, AND WHAT TO DO WITH THE PLUG FROM THE WIRE HARNESS????????

Is your lude still running? If so, there's probably nothing wrong with your coil. But as far as aftermarket coils go, I'm not sure as to how to wire them up.

actually it started after i did the motor swap, but i think its just the wire having a bad connection,but its not running now, it cranks but won't catch

Check for arc at the connection between the coil and distributor

yea, im next to positive it's just the connection, the metal connector on the wire came off and i tried putting it back on with little success. So hopefully thats all it is

then simply get the wire, you don't need a whole new coil

check the rotor/cap/wires a coil either works or it doesn't 99% of the time
