1990 Honda Accord window problem.....
I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX 4 door. The drivers side front door window will not roll down all the way. Before you post that I need to replace the window regulator, I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED IT. The problem still is present. Even if you unhook the glass from the regulator it takes alot of force to push the glass down. I know I have the new regulator hooked up right because I got the window to roll all the way up and seal off properly. Any idea what could be causing the window glass to stick?
Thanks guys,
Joan

The weatherstripping could be really dry or not lined up correctly. Make sure it is sitting properly in the weatherstripping and lube the weatherstripping well.
Have you checked to see if you have any damage to the front or rear channels? If either of those is bent, you might have the same problem. Usually they get out of shape, and the window comes off track, but you might have the opposite damage.
Ah! I thought about lubing the channels, but wasn't positive it was good idea. I really wanted to, but the fear of screwing things up even worse stopped me.
Can the tracks get bent just be normal wear and tear? Or would it take something big to bend them?
THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
