Default People with Skunk 2 intake manifold

I know this probably belongs in the Integra forum but since i get most of the important info from here, i 'll post it here. When installing a Skunk manifold on a GSR which AEM intake would you use Type R or can you use the one for the GSR?

Throttle cable as well as the throttle calbe bracket is almost mandatory. GSR manifold sits lower in the engine bay and when you replace the manifold the throttle cable bracket sits very high and rubs the hood. I bought both from a & h for about 25 bucks. It amkes the installation look clean.

My customer opted to have a "dirty" installation. LOL.

Due to the hump, I don't see how it would work unless you butcher it and piece it back together somehow.

To make the GSR AEM fit the Skunk you have to cut off the last elbow that would normally turn down to the throttle body. Use a hacksaw. It takes 5 min to do and you'll see its a more direct passage to the throttle body. You can use the GSR cable yea it might hit the hood a little but after a while it sits down.

Typrmnsm I'm interested in that manifold . I was gonna buy it off Willard but you beat me to it.

he is abslutely correct. i have a friend that has the skunk2 manifld and is running the GSR intake, but had to be modified like the desciption above. i would just get the ITR CAI. thats what i did. bolts right in. you can use the GSR throttle pulley, it looks half but it will work. the throttle cable does pinch a little though on thehood. i would just get a ITR throttle cable along with any LS or civic throttle pulley and spring. much cleaner look.
