after i beat on my car a little.. my idle will jump from 1000 to 2000 rpm and keep going up and down for at least 5 mins... some say because of running too rich.. let me kno wut u guys think... thanks

mine does the same thing, and i was told that the idle control sullenoid is bad. Does it sort of go away after you drive for a bit? If that is the case, then the sullenoid probably needs replacement. I was told that it wont kill the car to leave it, but it sure as hell is annoying.

Check the Air Idle Control Valve... or Idle air Control valve...or whatever. They cqan clog up and cause that to happen. You might not have to buy anything. See if you can clean it, and if not, I don't think they are very expensive at all.
