Default manifold swap gone BAD!!!!

i really need some help her guys/gals. i'm trying to swap a y8 manifold into my crx, but i keep having all sorts of problems. i have a 99-00 y8 manifold. i plugged the holes, got a b18a TB, a y7 FR and FPR and even a new manifold gasket. i've search and searched, but it's all the same pics... i'm not the best a this whole thing, but i'm trying.....

~first, i had a problem with the IACV/EACV... i got one from an 89 accord just like the picture said, but that didn't fit, then i got one from a 92 and it looked just like the picture. is that the one i'm supose to use???

~second, i had a problem with 2 holes on the top of the FR.... i just plugged them with screws... is that ok?

~third...... the 2 big hoses in the middle of the manifold.... the one goes under and connects to that catch can, but what about the other? does that go to the big one in the middle in front of the fuel injectors?

does anying have a pic of their set-up the ones i keep finding don't tell me enough to understand..... i need help fast i have to have my car running by tomarrow!

I think you should get manuals for both motors (cars) & compare vac lines & what not, then put two & two together, I plan on doing the same swap but i will be using the 96 mani. let me know how it goes.

i'm using the y8 manifold, w/ a b18a TB, 92 accord IACV, and an 8 crx T.cable bracket.......

well as far as the iacv when i bought my manifold it was bare, so i had to get on, but i was told i could use the accord one insted. i got that taken care of.....

i'm getting a new manifold gasket tomarrow (sat. i hope). i'm goning to be using the y8 gasket.

i'm throwing a code for my IAT sensor, it said to just tap it into the rubber right in front of the TB, but i'm still throwing a code. why?

i'm having a really bad problem with it not sealing against the head. one of my friends said maybe the manifold it a little warped.... he suggested that i take it and get it milled? i guess thats what you call it. should i try that too?

does nyone know why that port is sealed? do i need to seal that one? i think that one and the one right against the head on the manifold are connected, so plug them both?

could you have plugged the connectors into the wrong sensors?

I know some of them have identical looking connectors.

I "think" the TP and IAT are interchangable... maybe try swapping them.

this is a definate possibility.

are you sure that the TPS on your TB is functioning?

as long as you have the IAT plugged in it should work...even if it is dangling in mid air. it may be bad. just plug in another one. you can stilck 50-60 of them in your pockets at the junkyard.

i never tested the accord iacv to see if it worked(since i found a better one before i ran it), all i know is that it bolted on and should work since there are no major differences between them. the one i tried was from an 89 accord (dont remember what engine) with the eacv mounted on the front side of the manifold (not the firewall side). this mounted perfectly to the back of the y8 manifold...upside down of course.

it took me a while but my y8 manifold swap idles perfectly...
