d15b7 y8 manifold swap iacv missing
ok so I have a d15b7 and I wanna swap this y8 manifold on it so it looks better cuz im doing a full oem all motor build for a daily with a full wire tuck. anyways enough about that.
So I have this y8 manifold but there is no iacv or iat with the iat isn't a problem since I don't drive it in the cold weather, what I'm wondering is there a way to bypass the iacv or do i have to use it.. I have seen itb setups where the iacv is just sitting on the steering rack plugged in? could i just do this or am i missing anything?

dude. i mean there is no spot on the manifold for it like i would just have put the one from the b7 manifold if it had a sport for it... looks like it was shaved off where the iacv is suposed to be

You bought an auto Y8 manifold which has the IACV on the throttle body. The IAT was found in the intake tube on the Y8. You can install an IAT in your intake tube and extend the wires for the plug. As far as the IACV...The one on the throttle body if you find one is for a 3 wire IACV I believe, so that could be a problem.
