For some reason water is leaking into my car from underneath the passenger side carpet
.... Has anyone ever had this problem before and how did you fix it?

Are you sure its water? Pull the carpet up and see if its coolant. 2 of my friends with Integras heater cores started leaking. This is because the heater core went bad. Its not because your leaking water in anywhere. It should be the most wet right at the edge of the passenger carpet near the firewall.
I am almost positive this is whats wrong with your car. You have two choices. 1st is bypass your heater core with one long coolant hose (you will lose your heat). 2nd pay someone to fix it. Will cost around $200-250 installed. Its a bitch to change. I think the dash has to come out.

Yes I am 100% sure its water because it only happens when it rains here in Washington. It gets the most wet in the middle of the carpet, but I think that water is coming from near the firewall and coming down to the middle of the carpet. Almost the whole passenger side carpet gets wet if I leave the car in the rain.... HELP!!
My car did the same thing. It was the window not sealing properly ( i have a 4 door with no window frames). Also check the windshield. Good luck....
