Damn driver's side window is rattling...will dealership fix this under warrantee?
I don't remember my driver's side rattling like this when I bought the car. It's starting to bother me. My car's still covered under warrantee, will the dealership take care of this problem? Thanks.
Yes. Mine did the same thing. They fixed it for free under warranty.
However It broke again and is rattling again.
The dealership says it's caused by closing the door with the window part way up/down.

Typical response. Everything is always YOUR fault. How come in other cars closing the door with window half open doesn't cause it to rattle like grandma's loose tooth.

If you can take you inside panel off you will see that there is a strip of rubber have has either come off or loosened up, this is what is causing your rattling. Actually, i believe that this has been covered before so you may want to do a search for 'window' I just did and it pulled up quite a few hits. Good luck!!!
Do your windows rattle when fully closed? It seems to happen to most with windows partly rolled down. Mine rattles when fully closed and especially when its cold out
A year ago I had window automation installed with my Viper 300+ alarm. Shortly thereafter, some thieves smashed my driver's side window and ganked all my ****. Acura replaced the window, but now whenever I go to put the window down, it makes 4 stops along the way and I have to keep pressing the button to get it to go down. When I apply pressure down on the window as it's lowering, it still stops short. Any ideas?

there are a few bolts that hold the window motor inplace as well as the guide arms. the are behind the plastic in the door. cut an small X over the bolt head ( i believe 9mm) and tighten down. Not too tight but snug. Alittle white lithium grease on the gears and moving parts never hurt either. And, as previously mentioned, check for the rubber guide on the side, its probably down some or even off and sitting at the bottom of the door.
hope it helps.

Yeah, my window was rattling when I was under warrenty...
I went into acura THREE times to get them to fix it. First they replaced the motor cuz they thought it was broken (which it wasn't) Then they said they tighned something and the third time I took it in I got someone with intelligence who just popped the rubber rail back in place!
I could of done that myself, but warrenties are nice to have. Those IDIOTS
