i found a guy that sells d15b..i know it comes from japan and i know its vtec and a 1.5 L but i know nothing eles i dont even know if its fast or what it red lines at ...?anyone have info on it ?and is it a good engine or is it crappy..

 

It seems it's the cure to cancer here on Honda-Tech. Everyone can't seem to stop beating off to the D15B. Really don't know why. It's pretty much the JDM version of the D16Z6 but with a more agressive camshaft.

It's not as if it's the best motor, but it is an excellent alternative to the z6... It's basically a z6's good features with all the bad features corrected... I got mine after my z6 blew and don't regret it.
