i was wondering if it is worth it to gut my car. does it reduce weight that much? also is it hard taking out the a/c?

 

I say if your doing an all out racing setup yes, but if its a daily driver 50-80 pounds max is not going to hurt you. It looks better to me with a full interior.

depends if you want to be able to reuse it later. if you don't care then you can cut it out and thats pretty easy of course. but removing the a.c. in my car was pretty simple. took about an hour with no research on how to do it. just be careful, the lines aren't the most durable, so if you start wrenching on them just watch it.

 

Gutting ur car doesnt reduce that much wieght, might as well go on a diet urself, like my fat friend...

 

Here's an idea....you want a faster car, modify it where it counts. If you drive it on anything remotely more than a race (scca, autocross, 1/4) basis, don't do it. Just my two cents. Buy more power..
