just installed my intake manifold on my b16a... i started the car, and it took forever to start.. then it idled really low, 600rpm.. then jumped up to 6k.. then i realized theres gas laying ontop of the manifold.. WTF is wrong with this piece of ****?

it's not a pos, you don't know what your doing. goto a shop next time or read up more.

 

ya. youre right i dont know what i'm doing. but thanks to my loyal friends that don't want anything to do with the car even tho they know almost everything about it. but just want money for nothing.

i fixed the injectors.. but it's squirting fuel from elsewhere and will just crank away...

or bryan it could have been that we're ghetto and didn't scrape off all of the intake manifold gasket lolol ***** running fine now

lol. i had the same problem with my IM. it would idle at 2k. while reinstalling it again to check for problems, i found out that a piece of the gasket was still there.
