I just ordered an exmag exhaust for my 94 GSR, and was wondering if the exhaust pipe will install on to my stock cat. And would also like to know what setup you guys are running (header, cat) with this exhaust.

it'll bolt right on as long as you got the right application

 

yup, bolt right on. Disassemble from the rear to front. Assemble front to rear. Good luck tightening that 3rd bolt on the cat. haha....

 

3rd bolt's a big pain. I just took the cat off and bought a new donut gasket for it instead of bothering with it.

 

yeah it bolts up fine. i got the rsr w/ a 2.25" carsound cat and a comptech header. good enuf for me

 

What's the piping size of the exmag. It's not suitable for a turbo in the future is it?

 

60mm. I don't think it would be suitable especially since it isn't a straight through design
