Default When my car is at a stop with engine running it rev meter keeps rising and dropping?!

Hey guys.

I have a weird problem with my car. It is a 1994 2.2 VTEC import.
When my engine is tunning and i am at a stop near a traffic light or whatever I notce that my rev meter rises slightly to the 1000RPM and drops down to 500 RPM.
It doe snot really go to 0 and stay there?

Any one had and similar problems and know how to help?
thanks

Maybe the throttle body and I.A.C valve need to be cleaned. You may also have a vacuum leak.

yup sounds like a vacuum leak to check all your lines on the valve cover manifold
