Hard to start after letting the car sit...
EK with built b18c1 motor...
Everytime I start my after leaving it off for around an hour top, I always have to crank my car then stop cranking and crank again making it start the moment i attempt the 2nd crank. What is causing it to do this?
I'm thinking this problem is also linked with why my car is bogging after 7 mins of driving at 50-60 mph... I would have to downshift to gain speed but then it gets worst until I'm in first gear and can't gain anymore speed. The more I attempt to accelerate it would bog even harder. I would have to pull over to let the car rest for 2 minutes until i can start it up again to go about another half a mile and rest it again. Also, gas mileage sucks too. How about a knock sensor causing it to bog? Correct me if my assumptions are wrong.

How's your 02 sensor readings? Maybe it responds slowly. Cap and rotor? Leaky wires? Fuel filter clogged?
As for starting difficulty, how bout main relay?

My o2 sensor is just hanging by the distributor since I don't have a O2 bung yet... but where is the main relay located so I can give it a test... 96 civic with b18c1 and b18c5 ecu...

Sounds like the work of the infamous PGM-FI Main Relay..
As for the long cranking after an hour pit stop, I'd try turning the key to the ON position for two seconds, then to the OFF position, and back to the ON position for two seconds. Then I would turn the key to START. If the car starts after two or three turns, I would say that fuel isn't staying in your fuel lines. And I believe, but can't remember, the problem is your fuel pressure regulator..

that would be your driveability problem..
