what brand clear coat??
what brand of clear coat is best when doing body work (rattle can type).
-I have tried duplicolor and dunno, but it seemed to have a yellowish finish. noticeable since i have a white car. glossy seems pretty good but considerable orange peel, which can be wet sanded and buffed down of coarse.
-I also tried Krylon and it just doesn't shine. takes way to many coats and still not as glossy as it should be. no yellowing though.
out of the two ive tried duplicolor seemed better but the yellowing worries, me. I need it for my front bumper and i want it to match my existing paint as best possible. i know the color i have matches, im just worried about the clear coat.
Im looking for a good gloss with no yellowing, basically.
Any other brands that would work well?
BTW: I did a search and didn't find anything really useful on the topic.

I know they're prolly the best way to go color wise and what not. but they put a hole in your pocket. $30 for a 12.5oz. hardly seems like your saving. when the 5oz dupli color costs only 5.50 at most more of a pain but cheaper and good match.

I used U-Pol Clear Coat on my side skirts. It was recommended at the paint shop were I got my aresol cans mixed:

Sort of expensive, but the can is big as hell. With every coat of paint, spray clear in between and it'll come out looking real wet. I have new paint on my car and it matched perfectly.
