ok i was driving on the highway last night. i was in 4th gear and i thought i was in 3rd for some reason and shifted down to 2nd gear. the car screamed loud so i pulled over everything was ok but the dist was making noise. so i started driving and ignored it like a $%$% and went home, next day i drove to nj and on the highway dist started to get louder than car started to bog out and than it cut off, i pulled over took my dist cap off and the rotor fall right out so i took a gsr dist right out a running gsr and put it on and now it cranks but don't crank and start, so the next day i changed the spark plugs and wires cause they were black and rustie cause i swapped the motor in a week ago. it's a 94 cx hatch wit a jdm b16 2nd gen... i was using the dist and plugs and spark plugs from japan cause i never got to change them....so now car still not starting but it cranks, i also put a new starter and alt in. i donno wat it is guys,, i got power and fuel pump turns on i don't get it wat else can go if the dist goes...please help i need the car for work

wats the diff i just got this one brand new?????? it gotta be something else anybody....??

 

Make sure you have the right OBD dist. also do you have any codes from your ECU. If not that's why you put new plugs in you JDM rusty motor

 

have you checked all your fuses?? any chance you putting the timing order wrong?? all plugs gapped correctly?
