That is the most ridiculous looking dyno chart I have ever seen...lol!! Crazy power nonetheless

hey i think he has wrong VTEC grind cams on that engine, the power just DROPS after the VTEC switch.

Yep, mostly blown, turboed, etc. This was a stock car with nitrous/propane. Its just cool to look at the dyno chart.

whats he sprayin like 250-300shot? my goodness. is your dyno setup right? looks like the rpm is off. maybe im just not used to vipers, but i would think hed be makin power upwards of 6500rpm. you dont have an niductive pickup to make sure the rpm is right, right?

He's spraying something like a 200-225 shot nitrous/propane. Vipers redline at something like 6000-6500 but their power is way below that. All Vipers make peak power around 5000rpm. Without nitrous/propane it makes max power at 5250-5500 but with the nitrous/propane he's only shooting between 3000-5000 so thats why his HP drops off so bad. up top

Yes we do have a rpm pickup but we've discovered that if we calibrate it via roll speed, its even more accurate and not as prone to outside interference.
