First off thanks to my friend Steve for helping me with the suspension, providing the tools to do this ****. So if you read this, thanks Steve.
You guys have heard it all.. You go to do the rear suspension and BAM, the head brakes off every bolt. Woohoo, and to top it off your bolts are all rusted and seized into the bushings. Good times, right? Well I thought so. After reading so many topics on this forum about this I went ahead and got some different lcas with bushings, basically knowing I'd be mainly using a saw and not wrenches on this project.
Anywho, on each side the bolt holding the LCA to the HUB, and the SHOCK were all seized and the heads broke right off the bolt. Thanks to a sawz-all, new bolts, new shocks/springs, and 2 LCAs with bushings that werent ****** toasted the job was completed.
Gotta thank Honda-Tech for the advance warning on this ****. Made a big difference ( for me ) and my buddy who helped.
Heres some pics.. Tokico Blues on H&R springs, nothing serious just a comfortable ride height.

Ignore my red rims, I don't need a flame suit because they're just on there tonight. We put them on for gits n shiggles. They're panasports that came on my friends SiR he imported here into Minnesota.
Also, the pictureof the actual suspension is at a weird angle, so no, my tire isnt crooked. lol.

I kinda like the rims, but they're not panasports they're watanabes.
Your car looks good; I like the black mouldings and the jdm front end; but I'm biased cause I have the same.
I would like to see the car a little lower though. Are those the OE sport springs or the sport springs?

Hey thanks for the positive feedback guys. The rims are just on for today, I think they're ugly on my car, they look good on my buddies. He has a black rex.
Anyways, yeah the springs are only a 1.8 inch drop, and are the sport I am pretty sure. I got a great deal on the suspension, 200 bucks for everything inclduing the Si LCAs.
Im a broke *** college student so I do my best, slowly but surely.

Hey, I'm kinda diggin the rims. If they were just milano red........One thing that might have helped a little. PB Blaster, it's a penetrating anti-seize in a can. I spray everything before I attempt any underside repair including exhaust. You need a can to try before the sawzall!
Oh, and, nice ride. Last time I went to Minn, I could see thru all the cars 10+ years old, LOL.

I like your car nice and clean minus the rims (Ill take yor word on those

So do the H&R's only give the rex 1.5 drop all around??? Still looks a little high to me, but then again everyone has there own preference

Too early in the morning for me I guess.
The camber looks WAY off in that pic!
(I hope the car is just jacked up off the ground)

lol read the original post guys...

That other pic, the car was on the ground but the camera was tilted at an angle just to show the suspension.. The wheels not like that at all, lol.
I will make sure to post up updated pics as I do more **** to it as it sits this winter.
( Motor swap, exhaust, rims, etc. )
Being broke and in college =
Just a matter of time...

I know the feeling, our time is coming.
Anyway, nice car minus the color of the rims.
I don't think you mentioned which LCA you used.

I like the SIR front end.
PIMP, wish I had that
Should think about getting a ST sway bar back there, really nice and it's cheap.
