any one have this setup? if so whats a good amp to push em? I have mine in the JL Audio Power Wedge and currently running a 1000 watt pyramid amp , ya I know that sucks thats why i'm gunna get a new one now, I just didnt have the cash at first to get a good amp.

I'm thinking of a Phoenix Gold or Memphis, not sure though.

But if any of you have this setup let me know what you have found to be a pretty good amp to push em.

just look for a good amp to match the specs. alpine, memphis, jl, rockford fosgate, cadence, etc. the list goes on.
1. pyramid amps are pretty shitty
2. the way your system sounds has A LOT to do with tuning. what are the x-over settings?

 

try diamond audio....I am using one and have one for sale....I blew out a audiobahn alum12q only one in a ported set up...all with I believe 8g wiring...minus the connection between the amp and the battery which had 0g wiring..
