I just put a sec gen b16 in a 92 dx hatch, just replaced the fuel pump, Started the car wit the p06, started up and ran OK not good but not bad, anyways, i tried the p30 and the car ran like **** then died, so i put back in the p06 now the fuel pump won't turn on well waiting like 15 mins the fuel pump is turing back on but it still won't start, sorry about the run on sentences,, Thanks

could be....do you hear the fuel pump charging up on the second click?

if you dont hear that weird sounds that turns off before starting, its the relay.

i have the same issue. leave the car off for a couple of minutes, turn the key to the second click (when the CEL turns on before firing up)....listen for the fuel pump buzzing sound. if you dont hear it, replace the relay. you can kick it a couple of times and it might work. i beat the **** outta mine until the car fires up.

 

I turn the key on the second postion and i hear the fuel pump turning on and the cel comes on for like two seconds too...

 

Can anybody help??

 

Well i pulled the main relay and all around the little joints have a brownish yellowish around them and on the green strips it looks like there is alot brownish there too...
