Default v tec switch

O.K. I boughtt a d16z6 to drop in my 90 rex and I plan on running my stock harness and ECU so I need a switch to engage vtec. Any recomendations? I know MSD has one but it's 200 canadian and thats too much period. Thanx

Just hook it up to something in your car like your park lights or just get a toggle switch if you worried about money but it is best to run w/ a actual Vtec controller if you want it done right and to function right.

If you got nothing positive to say then shut the f**k up! I'm looking to spend around 100 bucks to hook up v tec. Any suggestions.

Well I got my Fields boxer Vtec controller for that price... i just got lucky one day when the guy needed the money.. Keep your eye out or post a WTB for vtec controller and see what results you get.. kyle

your best bet is to find a used vtec controller or do an OBD 1 conversion......
